Fairy, Football or Safari? Paper Table Covers Compared

Three prints, one shared size

All three covers here are paper table covers sized 120 x 180 cm (or 180 x 120 cm, depending on how the listing writes it). That shared footprint makes this a fair comparison: the real differences are the print, the material wording and how each listing handles recycling and styling.

Use the size first. A 120 x 180 cm cover suits a standard rectangular party table, but the listings do not state a recommended table height, overhang or edge-drop. If you need a precise drape to the floor, measure your table and treat the cover as a surface protector rather than a fitted cloth.

How the three prints differ

• Football Pitch Paper Table Cover: Classic green with white pitch markings, designed to turn the table into a mini stadium for match-day snacks, team parties and birthday feasts. The listing recommends it for kids' birthdays, birthdays and games night.
• Party Safari Paper Table Cover: Jolly animals in party hats and bow ties against confetti and balloons. The listing calls it an essential piece for an animal lover's party and suggests pairing it with matching Party Safari Paper Plates.
• Fairy & Butterfly Paper Table Cover: Delicate fairies, pastel blooms and fluttering butterflies in soft pastel tones. The listing recommends it for kids' birthdays, birthdays, tea parties, afternoon tea parties and baby showers.

Material and recycling wording, as supplied

• Football Pitch Paper Table Cover: Material: FSC Paper; disposable for fuss-free clean-up; packaging: home recyclable. The Football cover is the only one of the three whose listing explicitly names FSC paper and describes it as disposable, so it is the clearest choice if certified paper and throwaway clean-up are priorities.

• Party Safari Paper Table Cover: Product: home recyclable; packaging: home recyclable; the listing suggests teaming it with matching Party Safari Paper Plates, which can both go straight in the recycling. The Safari cover is the only one whose listing mentions recycling the product itself alongside a matching plate, which helps if you want a coordinated table that is easy to clear.

• Fairy & Butterfly Paper Table Cover: Material: Paper; recyclable at home after use; product: FSC; packaging: home recyclable. The Fairy cover names FSC paper and home recyclability, making it a close match to the Football cover on material credentials while offering a softer pastel design.

Where the listings leave gaps

None of the three listings supplies preparation or operating instructions, such as how to unfold, secure or weight the cover. That is a limitation of the supplied information, not a statement that the covers cannot be used outdoors or taped down. If your party is outside or breezy, plan your own fixing method and check the cover as you set up.

The Safari listing describes a pack size of one printed table cover. The Football and Fairy listings do not state a pack quantity in the supplied evidence, so do not assume a multipack. Order by the number of tables you need to cover.

Pick by the party, not by the pattern alone

• Choose Football Pitch if...: You are hosting a match-day gathering, games night or football-loving child's birthday and want a green pitch as the base for themed tableware.
• Choose Party Safari if...: The guest of honour loves animals and you want a bright, busy print that pairs with matching Party Safari Paper Plates for a coordinated, recyclable table.
• Choose Fairy & Butterfly if...: You need a softer pastel backdrop for a tea party, baby shower or birthday where cakes and gifts are the focus, and you still want FSC paper and home recyclability.

A practical buying note on price and quantity

The catalog prices shown for these covers are close together, so the print and the recycling wording are likely to matter more than a small price difference. Check the current price at checkout rather than relying on this comparison.

Because the covers are paper and described as disposable or recyclable at home, treat them as single-use table protection. If you need a reusable cloth, these are not that product; if you want a quick clean-up after cake and crafts, the paper format is the point.
